In response to the demand for a reliable Plug-N’-Play inertial measurement unit (IMU) for model rocket enthusiasts, I embarked on the design and manufacturing of the BMI088 IMU breakout board. Utilizing Altium PCB Design software, the board was meticulously designed and optimized. Subsequently, the components were soldered in-house employing hot-air soldering techniques.
